Can we score a hattrick?

16Mar2011

Farming Futures has been shortlisted
for the inaugural Climate Week Awards! Having recently won a Global Green Award and voted the best website for climate change and agricuture information, we're hoping to romp home with a hattrick next week.

Climate Week is a national occasion that aims to 'shine a spotlight on the many positive steps already being taken in workplaces and communities across Britain.'

We're one of four finalists in the Best Campaign category. The winner will be selected by a judging panel which includes Lord Nicholas Stern, Met Office Chief Scientist Julia Slingo, environmentalist Tony Juniper, author Ian McEwan and Arnold Schwarzenegger's climate advisor, Terry Tamminen. It will be announced on 21 March at the official Climate Week launch event.

We’re absolutely chuffed to be recognized by the Climate Week Awards team for our project. We’ve always strived to make Farming Futures stand out from the crowd whilst still delivering on its behaviour change goals – being nominated for the Best Campaign is great recognition of all the project has achieved so far.

The announcement will be made on Monday - wish us luck!
