Goal! We did it - another award for team FF

23Mar2011

Farming Futures has scored a hattrick and won the Climate Week award for the 'Best Campaign'.

Having recently won a Global Green Award and voted the best website for climate change and agricuture information by Farmers Weekly, we wanted to go one strep further with a climate week award too.

As the judges put it: "Farming Futures stood out to the judges as a campaign with behaviour change at its heart in a sector, agriculture, where such change is very important for the low-carbon agenda. The level of brand recognition the campaign had achieved amongst farmers was impressive."

Climate Week is a national occasion that aims to 'shine a spotlight on the many positive steps already being taken in workplaces and communities across Britain.'

The judging panel included Lord Nicholas Stern, Met Office Chief Scientist Julia Slingo, environmentalist Tony Juniper, author Ian McEwan and Arnold Schwarzenegger's climate advisor, Terry Tamminen.

We had some stiff competition, so we’re absolutely chuffed to have won. We’ve always strived to make Farming Futures stand out from the crowd whilst still delivering on its behaviour change goals – winning the Best Campaign is great recognition of all the project has achieved so far.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us - without you we couldn't do what we do...
