Feed-in tariffs (FiTs) have transformed the economics of wind generation creating a great opportunity for farmers and landowners to develop a new and profitable revenue stream whilst also delivering significant environmental benefits.

RenewableUK will bring together farming experts and industry representatives to help individuals to assess the different types of technologies available on the market, the issues to consider when installing a wind turbine and other key information on generating energy from wind. Speakers include Dr Ceris Jones, Climate Change Adviser for the NFU.

Individuals attending the seminar will also be able to visit the free exhibition to meet manufacturers and other service providers supporting wind energy.

Those considering larger scale developments will have the opportunity to meet and network with the leading developers involved with on-shore wind turbine projects at the free main exhibition.
